Lyman to Washington Pass – Tuesday, September 29, 2015
Although we did not see many birds, the first bird of the day was a Sharp-shinned Hawk that was sitting in a tree letting us all watch him preening.  Lunch was a great stop as we had Gray Jays helping us eat our lunch with a Clack’s nutcracker trying to join in.  We also saw a Mountain Chickadee and a Ruffed Grouse on the walk after lunch at Washington Pass.
