Deception Pass – Tuesday, April 17, 2018
The surprise of the day was to see both Swans (not certain if Tundra or Trumpeter) and Snow Geese on the roads driving through Skagit County.. We thought they were gone for the year. We did get to see the Marbled Godwit at March Point. Seeing the Loons and Grebes in their different stages of winter and summer plumage was interesting. The Turkey Vultures, Caspian Terns and Osprey have arrived for the summer.
