LIGHT RAIL OPEN HOUSES

ARLINGTON PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

The Commissioners will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16th at City Hall, 110 Main Street.  They will be discussing the Arlington Marysville Manufacturing Industrial Subarea Plan.

 

ARLINGTON MARYSVILLE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL AREA SUBAREA PLAN OPEN HOUSE 

A presentation and interactive session on the Arlington Marysville Manufacturing Industrial Area Subarea Plan will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17th at Crown Distributing, 17117 - 59th Avenue NE in Arlington.  Members of the project consultant team and city staff will be on had to answer questions.  For more information visit www.arlingtonwa.gov or marysvillewa.gov.

BOTHELL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The Council will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16th at City Hall, 18415 - 101st Avenue NE.  They will be deliberating on Accessory Dwelling Units from their previous public hearing on September 18th.

BOTHELL PLANNING COMMISSON MEETING 

The Commissioners will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17th at City Hall, 18415 - 101st Avenue NE.  They will have a public hearing on three Code amendments as part of the 2018 Docket that would improve the efficiency and clarify the City's development regulations in regards to create a site plan review process, proposed grading permit regulations and amendments addressing retaining structures.

The Commissioners will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24th at City Hall, 18415 -101st Avenue NE.  They will have a public hearing on Downtown Plan and Code Amendments as part of the 2018 Docket.  The four amendments to be considered are:

1.  Potential rezone of the General Commercial zone along the west side of SR 522 from Ormbrek Street wouth to Wayne Curve to SR 522 Corridor district and application of an affordable housing requirement;

2.  Potential removal of the remaining Downtown Transition district density limits, with the application of an affordable housing requirement;

3.  Potential amendments to the public open space requirements;

4.  Potential amendments to the design review process in the Downtown Special Review Area (SR 522 to NE 185th Street and Bothell Way east to 104th Avenue NE) and related code amendments in this area.

BOTHELL SHORELINES BOARD MEETING 

Bothell Shorelines Board will hold its first business meeting regarding the 2019 Shoreline Master Program updates at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5th at City Hall, 18415 - 101st Avenue NE.

MONROE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

 

The Commissioners will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15 at City Hall, 806 Maine Street.  Their agenda includes more discussions regarding the Unified Development Regulations on non-conformance and reuse standards, downtown commercial zoning district, permit review and processing, and subdivisions.

MUKILTEO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

The Commissioners meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18th at City Hall, 11930 Cyrus Way.  Their agenda includes discussions regarding the Shoreline Master Program Update and associated Development Regulations.

Wednesday, October 31 at 10:30 a.m. on the following ordinances:

Ordinance 18-071, approving Amendment No. One to interlocal agreement between Snohomish County and Diking Improvement District 5 concerning construction and post construction commitments relative to the Smith Island REstoration Project.

Ordinance 18-069, approving a system of rates and charges proposed by the Snohomish Conservationm District for natural resource conservation purposes on all non-exempt real property located within Snohomish Conservationm District and Snohomish County for a five-year period beginning in 2019.

Ordinance 18-056, relating to Growth Management Act, amending the Snohomish County Growth Management Act Comprehensive Plan General Policy Plan and Capital Facilities Plan related to potable water supply for new Development (GPP18-2 Water Supply), continued from September 19 with two proposed Amendments.

Ordinance 18-057, relating to the GMA, adopting technical map amendments to the GPP of the Comprehensive Plan (GPP18-3--UGA Accuracy and GPP18-4--Technical Corrections) with one amendments.

Ordinance 18-058, relating to GMA, amending the Comprehensive Plan to clarify the relionship between the Comprehensiv Plan and external functional plans of water and wastewater service providers (GPP18-5--Capital Facilities Plan, with 4 amendments.

Ordinance 18-059, relating to GMA, amending the Transportation Element of the Comprehensive Plan (GPP 18-6--Transportation Element).

Ordinance 18-060, relating to GMA, adopting future Land Use Map amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, amending the zoning map to implement changes to the future Land Use Map, and revising the SW Urban Growth Area (SW4--Northshore School District).

Ordinance 18-062, relating to GMA, amending the Comrpehensive Plan and chapters 30.22 and 30.31F to revise rural business zone policies and development regulations.

SNOHOMISH PLANNING COMMISSION MEETINGS

All meetings are held in the 1st Floor Meeting Room 2 at the County Administration Building, 3000 Rockefeller Avenue in Everett, the fourth Tuesday evening of every month.

The Commissioners will have their next meeting from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23rd.  Their agenda includes a the following:

1.  A public hearing on Reforming Ground Disturbance Provisions, which would focus on streamlining the methodology to allow grading activities (i.e. cuts and fills) within two feet of exterior site boundary lines between subdivisions;

2.  A public hearing on the 2019 Shoreline Master Program Periodic Review to achieve compliance with all applicable state shoreline laws and guidelines in effct at the time of review, achieve consistency with all of the amendments made to the county's Comprehensive Plan since the Shoreline Master Program was last updated in 2012, and reflect changed circumstances, new information and improved data;

3.  A briefing on Internal Consistency Code Amendments which would reconcile or eliminate ambiguities, duplications and inconsistences in Title 30 of the Snohomish County Code; 

4.  A briefing on Vision 2050 of the Puget Sound Regional Council, for the four county region of Pierce, King, Kitsap and Snohomish Counties in regards to transportation planning and funding, economic development and growth management.
