Business & Community Partners

Our communities place a high value on the amazing wildlife and breathtaking landscapes we have in western Washington. To help further our mission of protecting these species and their habitats, our business and community partners enable us to: offer educational programs to schools, libraries, and community groups; provide grants to elementary school teachers for environmental education; collect valuable data on our local birds to inform science and policy; grow our membership so we can be stronger advocates on local conservation issues; and create a sense of place and community through events such as Swifts Night Out and Puget Sound Bird Fest.

Some of the ways we support our partners include:

  • Recognition on our website, social media, and newsletter

  • Hosting a birding field trip for your staff/organization

  • Giving a presentation to your staff/organization

  • Offering a table at one of our events

  • Recognition on event signage

We’re happy to work with you and find the best way for us to support your business or organization.

We offer several ways to support our work, such as:

  • Funding partner

    • Making a financial contribution to our organization (general donation, event sponsorship, etc.)

    • Hosting a fundraiser at your business (i.e., pint night, register roundup/point of sale donations)

  • In-kind partner

    • Contributing goods or services to support programs, events, and staff (i.e., discounted venue rental, food for programs and volunteers, gift cards for prizes or awards)

    • Providing discounts for Pilchuck Audubon members (encourages chapter membership)

    • Providing discounts or free services to our organization (i.e., free or discounted ad space in your publication, room rental, etc.)

    • Expanding our outreach by sharing our flyers or event information with your community, clients, followers

  • Appeal partner

    • Matching donations for fundraising appeals to double the impact of individual donors
