Our day began with a beautiful woodland walk at Barnum Point. A couple of mixed flocks included Black-capped and Chestnut Backed Chickadee, Brown Creeper, Orange-crowned and Wilson’s Warbler, Western Tanager, Bewick’s Wren, Pacific Slope Flycatcher and numerous Red-breasted Nuthatch. Bird-of-the-day was a Sora with three Virginia Rail at Iverson Point. Birds were scarce on open waters, but we did see Red-necked Grebe, Pigeon Guillemot, Short-billed Gull, Caspian Tern and many Great Blue Heron. A Pectoral Sandpiper was at Eide Rd.
