Birding: Monroe to Carnation

Photo: Yellow Warbler by Mick Thompson

Meet at 8:00 AM at the Monroe Park & Ride, 17433 Hwy 2, west of the Evergreen Fairgrounds. Please come prepared to carpool — the number of cars impacts safety and where we are able to stop for birding, and also we want to be environmentally conscious. Wetlands and other habitats in the Snoqualmie River Valley offer an array of spring migrants. Possible stops include Tolt-McDonald Park, Sikes Lake and the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. Dress for the weather and pack a lunch.

Trip leaders: Doug Cooper (509-990-7499) and Sally Jo Sebring
