Meet at 7:00 AM at Eastmont Park and Ride (2020 El Capitan Way in Everett), I-5 exit 189, east side. We’ll aim for the 8:00 AM ferry from Mukilteo. Sunset Beach, Deer Lagoon, Crockett Lake and other spots on South Whidbey often yield a varied species list, and we’ll especially look for migrating shorebirds. Pack a lunch. We’ll aim to return on time, but be aware that wait time for the return ferry trip is unpredictable.
